From the far right of our political system a message has been delivered saying, "You need to stop blaming Bush" No, we do not!
- A NATO security team was sent in to Iraq to search for Weapons of Mass Destruction, none were found, result; The team was fired. A second team was sent into Iraq to search for WMD's,same results, no WMD's So why did we go into war with Iraq? Here are my Beliefs.
- War generates money if you are connected to a military contractor, (like Haliburton), the taxpayers and politicians will also let money to be funneled to these Contractors with very little, if any oversite, A huge waste, that continues even now with 1,1/2 contractor to every 1 military personnel @ 3 times the cost.
- A son that wants to "One up on his father" or Revenge for his father.
- If you are being tortured, you will say anything to get it to stop, even lie. Bad intelligence was to blame when no WMD's were found. A "Detainee" supplied the information that Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden were in cahoots.
- Iraq has a lot more valuable resources than Afghanistan, in which, brings up the question, What happen to the Billions of Dollars, the Cars, the Yachts, the Jewelry, the Gold, the Paintings?
- THIS INCREASED THE DEFICIT!
It is also my belief, that 911 happened because, Osama Bin Laden had offered to take care of the invasion of Saudi Arabia by Iraq for a small nominal fee, He was turn down and the US lead Coalition was chosen instead.
- Over the last ten/eleven years my paycheck has gone up very little, the reason was sited to me was that, Healthcare Insurance cost has gone up Meanwhile, the Senate have gotten "Cost of Living" raise's and tried to privatize Medicare & gave the Pharmaceutical Companies 600 Billion dollars without any type of accountability. THIS INCREASED THE DEFICIT! (It seems to me, that the GOP is continuously trying to give the role of Government to the Corporations)
- After a decade of deregulation,eventually there is going to be a breakdown, this will also happen if the regulators were hired from the major Companies in that field, to watch over the Publics and Workers interest & safety. Result; Economic melt down, Workers dying, Environmental disasters.
- The immigration problem has been ignored through out the Bush administration even though it has increased every year, Now that the job market has been more competitive, it once again has been pushed to the forefront with little being mention about the farmers that hire these workers to keep the product prices down for big business.
- Everyone wants Taxcuts, Bush gave over a trillion dollars in taxcuts,THIS INCREASED THE DEFICIT But, the little guy sees very little of these taxcuts for a couple of reasons;
- The Federal Government gives you a tax break then State and Local Government raise their taxes on you, but not on the big Corporations that supply jobs or Campaign Contributions.
- Everyone that sells a product, charges rent, pays you,, uses this as an justification to put more money in their own pockets, they figure that you can afford to pay a little more.
Despite all these mistakes that are finally coming home to roost.The right wing is using rhetoric, quite effectively, to generate money for their cause through scare tactics targeting the Elderly, Conspiracy theorists, Racists and Drama Queens.
If people took a little more time to check the facts then, their fears would be put to rest instead of taking the word from people whose job it is to increase viewers by using lies and manipulation of the truth in giving a theatric telling of news. Drama Sells!
THEE massive mess that has been created has to be corrected, it takes time, and the rich & powerful are going to fight every step of the way, because, they are making good money with little out of pocket expenses and wish to maintain this lifestyle with little concern that the bulk of Americans will pay more while receiving less.
